Attention Race Fans -It’s a Double Race Weekend this Saturday & Sunday at Dixie & Rome Speedway.
It all kicks off Saturday Sept. 3rd at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock! It’s Family Fun Night- children 8 years old and under will be admitted free in the grandstand. Also, Students ages 9 to 17 will only pay $6 for grandstand admission. Adult Grandstand tickets will be $15. A big Crash em Up Compact Car Demolition Derby, the Unpredictable Spectator Racing and full race program are on schedule. The Chevrolet Performance Parts Late Model Series will invade Dixie for a $2000 to win 525 Championship Race. It’s a show you son’t want to miss!
Then the action moves up to the 140mph Rome Speedway on Sunday night September 4th for a special 50th Anniversary Race! The Historic $3000 to win Rome Boss Super Late Model is on schedule along with a full racing program. You’ll also see the $5000 to win Chevrolet Performance Parts 525 Late Models racing side by side for 100 LAPS!! Rome Speedway hasn’t seen 100 laps in over 15 years! Be sure to arrive early to meet the Chevrolet Performance Parts Series drivers. Racing Legend- Leon “Slick” Sells who won the first ever Late Model race under the Mickey Swims family ownership will serve as the Grand Marshall for this special 50th Anniversary Celebration!
